The Richwood, one Ridgeway model, has a case of luxuriant Glen Arbor cherry and is also a curio cabinet. The split pediment displays a fully turned finial crown on its top. The clock face has embossed numerals and a faux moon dial. Full length side doors provide access to the curio cabinet with lighted interiors, powered by an AA battery.

A song written in 1875 called “The Grandfather’s Clock” told the story of an aging floor clock that stood in the George Hotel in North Yorkshire, England. Two brothers managed the hotel.
